vTVL, the metric we care about
Traditional DeFi often uses TVL. Aqua0 focuses on vTVL (virtual TVL) as a better proxy for capital productivity.
- TVL means capital locked (often idle)
- vTVL means capital allocated and available across strategies/chains through virtual accounting
Fees (high-level)
Trading fees are set per strategy by its strategist and accrue to the LPs backing that strategy, in proportion to their actual participation.
